Lovina overnight, 2D/1N package to the northern area of Bali.

Day 1

Barong and kris dance. You will be picked up at 8-8.30am. At first you will see a village called Batubulan, 6 km to the east from Denpasar city where the Barong and kris dance performed everyday from 9.30-10.30 in the morning. A basic story about the never ending fight between good and evil. Good is personified by the Barong Keket, a strange, creature in the shape of shaggy semi-lion. Evil is represented by Rangda, a witch. Barong can be seen as a drama rather than merely as a dance.

Celuk and Mas village. Just few minutes drive from Batubulan, a village called Celuk is an interesting place to visit. Along the street you will see numerous gold and silversmith’s shop with their workshop that can be visited. Next village will be Mas, which is famous for wood carving.

Tirta Empul Temple. Its name derives from large spring in the centre of the temple. Tirta means holy water and Tirta Empul means holy spring water. This is one of the most important source sanctuaries on the island. The holy spring are believed to have magical powers. On the west side, high on the hill, can be seen a presidential palace which was built in 1954, during Sukarno’s time (the first president of Indonesia), on the site of a Dutch rest house

Coffee plantation. On the main way up to Ki.ntamani, there are some places where we can stop to see some tropical fruit plantation, especially coffee. Walking around the field where we can see them grow, coffee, coco beans, vanilla, papaya, snake skin fruit, mangosteen, etc and lastly you will be served by fresh and hot bali coffee or chocolate.

Kintamani. Number one tourist attraction in Bali. Enjoying the panorama of Batur volcano as well as lake Batur. Batur volcano is the second highest volcano in Bali, it is about 1700 meters above sea level, while the first one, Agung, is about 3100meters above sea level. Having lunch at one of recommended restaurant overlooking the view of a great real picture.

Lovina. Going down to Lovina, passing Singaraja city, the second biggest city in Bali. Stay overnight at Lovina beach, black sandy beach with different atmosphere.

Day 2.

Dolphin. Wake up in the early morning (6am), to see the dolphins, this is quite an experience, and one not to be missed. Take a boat out and a dolphin will leap from the waves, to be followed by several more. Get back to hotel around 8am, breakfast and take shower and get ready to continue the trip.

Gitgit waterfall. About 11 kilometers from Singaraja, on the way up to Bedugul, you will find the waterfall Gitgit. The path down is lined with souvenir shops. The 40 meters waterfall is quite pretty and a great place for picnic.

Bedugul. There are some places that we can visit in this area. The fruits market along with souvenir shops, the three lake panorama, the great Ulun Danu Temple on the lake side with spectacular environment. And having lunch at one of the restaurant by the Beratan lake.

Alas Kedaton/monkey forest. Hundreds of monkeys in the nutmeg forest and high up on the big trees many bats are hanging and singing with their loud voices. In the middle of the forest, there is an old temple called Dalem Khayangan Kedaton . This temple is one of the important and attractive temple in Bali.

Tanah Lot temple. One of the most popular tourist destination in Bali. Located at Beraban viallage , Tabanan regency. The temple perched on a little rocky islet. The spectacular Tanah Lot is possibly the best known and most photographed temple in all over Bali, especially at sunset time.

Get back to your hotel after sunset.

Lastly, the route back home takes you to visit the hall of justice of historical Kerta Gosa which date from 18th century. Here you can view its magnificent structure and interesting classical painted ceilings, describing visions of heaven and hell.

Drive to Ubud and stay overnight.

Day 2.

Pura Taman Ayun. This tour begins with a visit to the Royal temple compound of Pura Taman Ayun. Dating from 1634, this temple complex is surrounded by a moat with multi roofed shrines and carved wooden gates.

Kerta Gosa, the historical hall of justice which date from 18th century. Here you can view its magnificent structure and interesting classical painted ceilings, describing visions of heaven and hell.

Besakih temple, temple which dates back to 11th century and the biggest in Bali. Located on the foot of mount Agung, Besakih offer you magnificent view both country side and historical building. Then the route takes you further inland through terraced rice field. A stop will be made for lunch at one of the restaurant at Bukit Jambul over view to the stunning panorama.

Then journey along the east coast to Goa Lawah, a sacred temple and bat cave. The cave is considered to be holly with shrines and a temple protecting the entrance. Next visit will be one of the original Bali-aga village of Tenganan which is famous of its traditional fabric ‘songket double ikat’.
